Loranda St Jacques
Treasurer, Board of Directors
Loranda brings a strong background in finance and administration, with years of experience managing budgets, financial records, and organizational compliance. Before moving to the United States, she built her career in Haiti, where she earned a reputation for being disciplined, reliable, and results-driven.
Now advancing her education in nursing, Loranda combines a passion for healthcare with proven financial expertise. That blend of skills makes her an invaluable asset to the Wellfiks Foundation, helping ensure that program decisions are both fiscally responsible and informed by frontline service perspectives.
As Treasurer, Loranda oversees the Foundation’s finances, including budgeting, expense management, financial reporting, internal controls, and regulatory compliance. She is committed to transparency and accountability, ensuring that donor funds are stewarded with integrity and directed to maximum impact for survivors and communities served.

Stanley David
Vice President, Board of Directors
Stanley David is Vice President of the Wellfiks Foundation Board of Directors. He is a licensed Agent with New York Life Insurance Company and brings more than a decade of experience in financial services, risk management, and community development. Stanley combines technical financial expertise with strategic leadership and a deep commitment to service, positioning him to help guide the Foundation through growth and operational maturity.
In his role as Vice President, Stanley oversees governance practices and financial stewardship, contributes to long-term strategic planning, and helps shape policies that ensure accountability and transparency. He works closely with the Executive Director and fellow board members to ground decisions in rigorous risk analysis, resource efficiency, and measurable impact for survivors and communities the Foundation serves. His responsibilities include budget oversight, program performance monitoring, compliance with regulatory and internal policies, and supporting sustainable operational systems.
Stanley also strengthens the Foundation’s external partnerships and resource mobilization. As a board member of the U.S. Haitian Chamber of Commerce, Inc., he advances economic opportunity and collaboration across the Haitian diaspora in Greater Boston. That experience enhances his ability to build strategic relationships with private, civic, and philanthropic partners, to support fundraising efforts, and to mobilize community-based resources and networks.
Known for a collaborative leadership style, Stanley prioritizes capacity building, mentorship for emerging leaders, and culturally responsive program design. He applies his background in financial planning and risk assessment to help ensure Wellfiks delivers services that are effective, sustainable, and sensitive to the needs of survivors and their families.

Melissa Blanc
Secretary, Board of Directors
Melissa is a highly experienced nurse with more than a decade of professional practice in healthcare. Throughout her career she has demonstrated exceptional skills in patient care, communication, and organization—qualities that have made her a trusted clinician and an effective leader. Her clinical experience gives her a strong foundation in critical thinking, crisis management, and compassionate client-centered service.
As Secretary of the Wellfiks Foundation, Melissa oversees board documentation, compliance, and communications. She ensures meetings are well-organized, minutes and records are accurate and accessible, and that internal and external correspondence reflects the Board’s priorities and commitments. Her strengths in administration and coordination support sound governance practices, timely reporting, and regulatory adherence—essential elements for a growing nonprofit.
Melissa’s ability to communicate clearly across diverse settings helps bridge gaps between survivors, families, and multidisciplinary teams, ensuring that sensitive information is conveyed with clarity and empathy. She brings healthcare-centered insight to program design, participant safety protocols, and staff training, strengthening the Foundation’s capacity to deliver trauma-informed, culturally responsive services.
