Funding Needs & Sustainability Plan

Current Funding Needs (2025–2027)

  • The Wellfiks Foundation requires USD 1 million in seed funding to establish and operate the first flagship center in Haiti. This initial investment will cover:
  • Land acquisition and construction of safe, secure, and trauma-informed infrastructure – USD 650,000
  • Medical, educational, and vocational equipment (labs, classrooms, IT, and healthcare) – USD 95,000
  • Operational expenses for the first 12 months (nutrition, medical care, staff salaries, utilities, transportation) – USD 80,000
  • Recruitment, training, and certification of specialized staff (psychologists, nurses, educators, social workers) – USD 20,000
  • Initial stock of essentials (food, hygiene kits, medicines, clothing) – USD 25,000
  • Security, monitoring & evaluation systems, emergency fund – USD 130,000

This budget ensures that the pilot center is fully functional, compliant with international standards, and capable of delivering measurable impact within the first year.

Sustainability Model

We recognize that long-term impact requires more than donor generosity; it requires a resilient, diversified funding model. The Wellfiks Foundation is therefore committed to financial sustainability through multiple revenue streams:

1.Corporate & Philanthropic Partnerships

    • Strategic alliances with corporations (CSR programs), foundations, and bilateral donors (USAID, UNICEF, UN Women, EU).
    • Tiered sponsorship programs: Supporter ($50+), Advocate ($250+), Leader ($1,000+), Champion ($5,000+) with visibility benefits.

      2. Recurring Donor Programs
    • Monthly giving campaigns through digital platforms (Stripe, PayPal, GiveButter).
    • Donor recognition through newsletters, “Wall of Gratitude,” and annual impact reports.

      3.NutraMak Social Enterprise Contribution
    • 10% of profits from NutraMak wellness brand are directly allocated to the Wellfiks Foundation.
    • This creates a self-sustaining pipeline of support, linking consumer health to child protection.

      4.Community Events & Fundraising Campaigns
    • Annual gala and awareness events in Boston, New York, and Port-au-Prince.
    • International fundraising tours (Wellfiks Renaissance Tour) with survivor testimonies, art, and music.

      5.Grants & International Funding
    • Competitive applications to global funds (Global Fund for Women, Mama Cash, Ford Foundation, Gates Foundation).
    • Partnerships with governments to scale programs nationally.

    Financial Accountability & Transparency

The Wellfiks Foundation is committed to best-in-class governance and accountability.
    • All funds will be managed under NutraMak LLC’s U.S.-based financial oversight, ensuring compliance with U.S. standards.
    • Annual independent audits will be conducted and published publicly.
    • Quarterly financial and impact reports will be shared with donors.
    • Donor contributions will be tracked, categorized, and reported (e.g., “$250 provided one month of therapy sessions for a survivor”).

    Sustainability Beyond 2030

By 2030, our funding strategy aims to transition from 80% donor-dependent to 50% self-sustaining through:
    • NutraMak contributions, scaling with brand growth.
    • Social enterprise initiatives, such as training centers producing crafts, textiles, and services led by beneficiaries.
    • Endowment Fund Creation: establishing a Wellfiks Global Fund to generate annual interest revenues dedicated to survivor programs.

    ✨ In short:
The Wellfiks Foundation is not only a humanitarian project,it’s a sustainable investment in Haiti’s future. Every dollar invested generates a double return: immediate protection for survivors, and long-term transformation of communities and systems
