Nurse | Certified Life Recovery Coach | Humanitarian Advocate | Entrepreneur

From Lived Experience to a Lifelong Mission
Marie Christelle Felix is a Haitian-born nurse, entrepreneur, survivor, and humanitarian advocate whose personal journey of adversity, resilience, and determination became the foundation of a mission much greater than herself.
As a survivor of sexual violence and personal trauma, Marie Christelle understands that healing is not simply about surviving what happened. It is about finding the courage, support, resources, and opportunities to rebuild a life beyond it.
Her commitment to survivor advocacy is not based solely on professional knowledge or academic interest. It is deeply personal. She has lived through experiences that gave her a profound understanding of the silence, emotional pain, vulnerability, and barriers that many survivors face.
Rather than allowing those experiences to define her future, she chose to transform her pain into purpose.
That decision became the driving force behind Wellfiks Foundation.
Where Personal Experience Meets Professional Purpose
With a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Haiti and certification as a Life Recovery Coach, Marie Christelle brings a healthcare perspective and a personal understanding of trauma to her humanitarian vision.
Her academic journey continues through graduate education. She is pursuing her goal of obtaining a Master of Healthcare Administration (MHA) and also a MSW.
Her educational ambitions reflect her belief that meaningful survivor recovery requires an integrated understanding of healthcare, mental health, social services, leadership, and human rights.
For Marie Christelle, professional development is not simply a personal achievement. It is part of her preparation to build stronger institutions and advocate for individuals whose needs are too often overlooked.
The Vision Behind Wellfiks Foundation
Wellfiks Foundation was born from a deeply personal conviction: no survivor should have to navigate trauma, abandonment, or the journey toward healing without dignity, protection, and meaningful support.
Having experienced trauma herself, Marie Christelle recognized the importance of creating spaces where survivors can be heard without judgment, supported without shame, and empowered to pursue their futures.
Her vision extends beyond awareness campaigns and temporary assistance.
Through Wellfiks Foundation, she is working toward the development of comprehensive recovery centers, trauma-informed programs, educational opportunities, healthcare partnerships, and long-term empowerment initiatives for women, girls, children, and vulnerable individuals.
Her ambition includes establishing recovery initiatives in Haiti, developing survivor-centered support programs in Massachusetts, and eventually building international partnerships to expand access to protection, education, and recovery resources.
